AGW help high end Client with winding a sensing coil, offering proactive advice for better integration.
AGW are pleased to have become involved with a company based at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Rotherham.
AMP is part of the Sheffield City Region Enterprise Zone and illustrates how manufacturing in the UK is changing.
The Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) is home to some of the World’s biggest manufacturers including Rolls Royce, Boeing and McLaren Automotive. Technology developed at the AMP is already being utilised in leading edge projects including Formula One, the military and commercial aircraft.
Many of these famous names and their commitment to the AMP shows that the park is at the forefront of the technology and that the UK can provide to the world market.
AGW have become involved in a project with a company that uses very modern and innovative techniques to monitor manufacturing equipment. The equipment been monitored is used in the traditional industry of South Yorkshire; Steel making.
The company’s equipment is used worldwide, not just in the steel heartland where it is based.
AGW were approached to wind a pre-designed sensing coil, but were able to offer advice and suggestions, that better integrate the coil into the application. This has given better functional results and potentially better reliability.
