AGW's quality management system is approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2015. This management system is designed to continually improve performance while addressing the needs of all interested parties.

This approach enables us to analyse customer requirements, define the processes that will achieve a product that is acceptable to the customer, and control these processes, to provide products that consistently fulfil the customer's requirements.

UL

UL

We have held UL approval since 1998 - enabling our wound components to comply with the thermal insulation systems, European (EN60950) and American (UL60950) standards Class B, Class F and Class H.

The approval of a customer's product to UL requirements can be substantially aided by AGW supplying components that have been manufactured within our temperature classification systems and marked with our unique UL recognised number.

RoHS

RoHS

We initiated a plan for RoHS compliance and became compliant by the second quarter of 2006.

We use tin/copper/silver in our Pb free manufacture.

Our program includes buying only RoHS compliant components wherever possible and so all compliant parts are identified at supplier. We are now Pb free and as far as is possible, RoHS compliant. We are however, reliant on our suppliers to provide Pb free and RoHS compliant components to maintain our objective. All compliant parts are documented at our goods inwards and segregated from any non-compliant parts in our stock.

Where customers specifically request the use of non-RoHS compliant components, e.g. leaded solder, this can be accommodated .The identification and use of the relevant components are managed to prevent contamination of the RoHS compliant environment.

Conflict Minerals

Conflict Minerals

Following the Dodd-Frank act, AGW have identified that the only material relevant is the Tin used in the solder. AGW have obtained information from their solder supplier that the tin smelters used are approved and validated.

REACH

REACH

AGW has checked and confirmed that they do not use the products that are listed in the REACH directive.
